The Guardian reporter Helen Pidd writes about the new fashionability of the ‘Golden Twenties’ among Berlin’s party-goers. Regular theme parties are being held where  ‘you can dress up as a flapper, dance the Charleston, drink absinthe while smoking from a foot-long cigarette holder‘ and there are even several Weimar-inspired hotels in the German capital now:
